What Is Required

No formal prerequisites for entry and is open to anyone interested in pursuing or enhancing a career in Hairdressing.

You will be required to complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy test and formal interview with one of our qualified Trainers and Assessors to establish whether this course is the correct qualification for your career path and job prospects.

The course is delivered over 7 stages and is typically delivered consecutively within a nominal period of 12 months, with some classes delivered up to 24 months (depending on experience, capacity to absorb information and possible credits and different electives applied at enrolment).

Are you eligible for Victorian Government subsidised training?
This is our standard fee based on a full course enrolment. Course fees vary based on each individual's enrolment details. Final course fees are offered after an individual assessment.
1 Accessing the learner resources can either be digital (online access via a personal computer or mobile device) or hardcopy (printed learner resources).
2 Tuition Fee for students eligible for Victorian Government subsidised training.
3The TECHkit is applicable for students who do not meet our minimum requirements in Avante Education's BYOD Policy
4The materials kit fee must be purchased prior to commencement. The kit includes all tools necessary to complete all practical assessments for all 28 units.
